Student Supervision in the Morning

Staff at San Rafael begin student supervision at 7:30 am. 

We have one staff member assigned to the Cafeteria, one staff member assigned to the Upper Playground, one staff member assigned to the front of the school (carpool), and one staff member assigned to the side of the school (carpool). 

Families that need student care before 7:30 am are encouraged to reach out the Pasadena LEARNs program as they provide before-school care at San Rafael starting at 6:30 am. 

Students should not be dropped off at San Rafael before 7:30 am as there is no supervision (unless with LEARNs).

There is NO PLAYING in the morning before school.  With almost 500 students on the playground every morning, playing and running around with minimal supervision would not be safe.
